Community Farming
Imago Forest is pleased to be able to offer up to three mandalas for people interested in growing their own organic food in a permaculture-designed garden.
Interested community farmers would be allocated their own beds much like in an allotment or community garden.
Each mandala contains six vegie beds, six young fruit trees, one pond and compost areas. Gravity fed water from the dam is available for irrigation.
The garden has a total of seven mandalas, with two each being managed by Julian and Ben.
Cost: $5/week/mandala.

Why Community Farm?
Farming can be a tremendously rewarding and fulfilling experience. It can also be daunting and isolating. In creating a community farm (much like a community garden allotment) we aim to reduce the challenges and increase the opportunities through mutual benefit. Community farmers will work on their own plots, but because they are right next to other community farmers plots, they will be able to support each other through ideas, labour and companionship.
If you have ever wanted to try your hand at farming this is a great opportunity in a supportive environment.
