The Farmers
Julian Lee is committed to creating social businesses that benefit farmers and consumers. He has had a lifelong interest in sustainability issues and following a project working with non-English speaking background farmers in the Sydney Basin (there are around 2000!) he moved to Imago Forest to start his own biodynamic farm from scratch. In doing this he has spoken to many farmers and tried to address the difficulties that are faced by small sustainable farmers. The Imago Forest fruit and vegie box system is one step on the way to creating a mutually supporting food system in Sydney and surrounding regions.
Ben Hughes and family live at Sweetmans Creek near Wollombi. They come to Imago Forest for 2-3 days most weeks to work two of the mandalas. Ben is also the face of Imago Forest at the shop in Singleton.
