Visiting Imago
Imago is at 550 Mt Royal Rd, Carrowbrook, NSW 2330
From Singleton turn onto Bridgeman Rd, follow this for 40km past Lake St Clair. Turn left up Mt Royal Rd (dirt) for 5.5km. You will get to a fork in the road (Cassells Rd), my gate is on the right.
If it is wet and you are in a 2WD, do not drive in more than 200m. Park near the gate.
If you want to be met at the gate, SMS the time you are leaving Singleton and we will be there approx 40mins later.
There is no mobile reception once you leave Singleton and until you reach the gate and even there it can be patchy.
When visiting Imago you should bring (as a minimum):
- Sturdy clothes and shoes
- Wet weather gear
- Torch
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen
- Warm sleeping bag (if staying) as it is cold at night in the mountains.
Imago Forest is completely off the grid, so you will need to be respectful of the resources you use while there. eg. Electrcity, fuel, water etc. We also highly recommend car pooling.
